The following documents are mandatory to register an IT industry:
Company Registration Certificate.
PAN/VAT Registration Certificate.
Citizenship Certificate of Founder/Manager.
Proposal Letter describing the scope of work.
To obtain a recommendation letter, one has to log in to the portal, fill in all the details and upload the required documents. After submitting the application for recommendation, the concerned body evaluates it and issues the recommendation letter.
You can check the status of your application by logging into your dashboard and clicking on "Application Status". The system displays a status such as 'Submitted', 'Under Review', 'Approved' or 'Rejected'.
Application review is typically completed within 7–10 business days after receiving complete details and correct documentation.
If the application is rejected, the reason for rejection is mentioned on the dashboard. Based on that, the application can be re-applyed with necessary amendments.
No, the registration process is completely free of cost and does not require any payment when submitting the application to the system.
Once the recommendation is received, you can submit the letter to the relevant government agency and apply for the necessary grants, facilities, or concessions.
If there have been major changes in the company (job description, location, etc.), or if a 1-year-old recommendation letter is renewed, a re-application can be made.
